SAY YES TO CERTIFICATIONS

In difficult economic times, it is more important than ever to you personally and to your employer to know that you are the best of the best in your field.  Certification provides an individual not only with a personal sense of accomplishment, but serves as individual leverage in current and future career opportunities.  A certification serves as a key differentiator in illustrating one's understanding and commitment to an industry or a competency.

Our goal at HSMAI Central Florida is to provide local professionals in the hospitality industry with the opportunity to obtain any of the four prestigious certifications offered by HSMAI and HSMAI University.

   Certified Revenue Management Executive (CRME)

Certified Hospitality Digital Marketer (CHDM)

Certified Hospitality Sales Executive (CHSE)

Certified Hospitality Marketing Executive (CHME)

Certified in Hospitality Business Acumen (CHBA)

Connect with other professionals

Complementing the work of HSMAI's chapters, HSMAI's expert communities connect members with common interests across geographic boundaries in the America's region. Each expert community is led by an advisory board or council which guides HSMAI's strategic direction as it relates to their dedicated subject matter, resulting in face-to-face and virtual education, special resources, insights, and more that are specific to their particular area of expertise.

WHAT OUR MEMBERS ARE SAYING ABOUT US

"I have been an active member of HSMAI since 1991 when I moved to Miami to accept my first Director of Sales & Marketing position.  I loved the camaraderie and networking opportunities that came with being a member and I valued the educational focus of the organization.  In 1992 I moved to Charleston, SC and took over the Sales & Marketing Director's position at Wild Dunes, a wonderful golf resort on the Isle of Palms.  When I found out there was no HSMAI chapter in Charleston, a few of us decided to start a local chapter.  So, in 1994 we launched the Carolina's Chapter of HSMAI.  Since leaving Wild Dunes in 1997 I maintained my membership in the Tampa Chapter and then the Central Florida Chapter of HSMAI.  What I have learned over the years from being a member of HSMAI has helped me in my professional career and I have made numerous friends along the way."
