Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and the 2019 Arnold Palmer Invitational Presented by MasterCard are joining forces to take a stand against children’s cancer – and we need your help!

Join us as we raise much-needed funds for children’s cancer research and clinical trials at Arnold Palmer Hospital by creating or joining a fundraising team. Then, show your support for our young patients and their families by walking with us at Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, where we will be joined by families, friends, and special guests from the world of professional golf! Let's March against childhood cancer!

Boys & Girls Club of Central Florida

Since 1944, Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida has helped inspire hope and opportunity in those who need it most – at-risk children in our local community.

We provide safe places to learn and grow for nearly 14,000 children between the ages of 6 and 18 every year. At each of our 31 Clubs in Brevard, Nassau, Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties, core youth development programs are offered to meet the diverse needs and interests of our members.

Did you know that 75 percent of our youth exercise at least 30 minutes per day and that 95 percent report not having experienced bullying at the Club? Check out “The Club In Numbers 2016.” Great Futures Start at BGCCF.

Our Mission: To inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

Clean the World Logo

Every day about 5,000 children worldwide die from preventable hygiene-related illnesses. Yet the hospitality industry discards millions of soap bars daily into landfills, which damage our planet’s resources. Clean the World embraced this incredible opportunity, creating a truly sustainable and life-saving solution.

WHAT IS CLEAN THE WORLD?

We are a social enterprise executing our mission to protect the environment and save millions of lives by leading a "Global Hygiene Revolution" to distribute recycled soap and hygiene products to children and families suffering from high mortality rates from two of the top killers of children worldwide – acute respiratory infection (pneumonia) and diarrheal diseases (cholera).

Clean the World also eliminates needless waste from landfills and incineration plants, which contaminate our precious air and water supplies. Our hospitality partners are working hand-in-hand with us to create a more sustainable future.

Founded in 2009, Clean the World partners with 4,000 hotels and resorts to collect their partially used bars of soap and discarded plastic amenity bottles. These goods are sanitized and recycled in an environmentally safe manner, and then distributed all over the world to children and families in desperate need of proper hygiene.

SOAP DISTRIBUTION

Since 2009, Clean the World has collected and distributed hygiene products to more than 99 countries including Japan, Phillipines, Mongolia, Haiti, Nicaragua, Swaziland, Mali, Uganda, and Honduras, as well as domestic shelters and relief organizations in North America
