UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management

What is the HSMAI Central Florida Collegiate Chapter and how do you as a student fit in?

We are a group of outstanding and forward thinking professional students who are dedicated to volunteer for an international hospitality organization!  Our motto is "Connecting you to the right people".  The efforts of our chapter are to network and learn from the outside world.  We have several benefits as members to help us with our journey towards our perfect career path while obtaining our classroom knowledge.  As a student member, here's what you can take advantage of:

Membership - It's ONLY $70 a year to join!  Download Membership Application

Luncheons - The monthly main chapter luncheons contain exceptional food, industry knowledge and priceless networking with the area professionals for ONLY $15!  However, if you are a Rosen student in good standing along with a HSMAI member in good standing....you can attend these luncheons for FREE!  You may even get to spend quality time with the guest speakers at that luncheon!

Jobs - Job postings go out to HSMAI student members.

Internships - Internships are sent out to HSMAI student members.

Networking - Opportunities to meet with industry professionals are plentiful.  See how you can meet these people below.

The HSMAI Central Florida Collegiate Chapter wants Industry Professionals!

Do you know what it's like to be a mentor?  Maybe you've been a coach or even a manager.  You are helping your team to succeed in whatever they are doing.  Being a mentor is the same thing if not more to these outstanding collegiates.  This is an awesome opportunity for you as an industry professional to connect with the youth of our future.  What an opportunity for them to be able to learn from the best of the best!  Being a mentor can take as much or as little time as you can afford to give.  We realize that you have your professional life and personal life.  Volunteering to shape the minds of our collegiate students is such a small investment.  The return on this is priceless.  Here are the ways we engage our mentors with our students.

Job or Internship - If you have a job opening or internship opportunity that would be perfect for a student, please send it our way.  Our student members benefit from your wealth of knowledge and working along side of you.
